The MHHS Volunteer Department is an extension of the hospital professional staff by providing support services to our patients, families, and visitors.

Membership in the MHHS Auxiliary is open to any qualified person interested in the work of MHHS.

Before a member can participate in auxiliary service, they shall successfully complete an orientation and training period.

Members of the hospital auxiliary volunteer throughout the hospital by serving as patient advocates and assisting in special projects and services.

A Junior Volunteer program is available during the summer months for individuals ages 14 to 18.

Through a structured program, the junior volunteers are responsible for assisting in departments throughout the hospital and on patient nursing units. This program is a valuable tool for those students interested in pursing a healthcare field.
