Foundation
MHHC MHHC FoundationSince 1997, the Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Foundation has raised funds to support Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. As a result of the generosity of corporate sponsors and participants in events like the Golf Tournament and Heart Gala, the hospital foundation has been able to support continuing professional education; program development; and purchases of needed medical equipment.

There are many opportunities to help support the MHH Foundation and in return, help fellow community members with their medical needs. All gifts to the hospital foundation, no matter what size, are appreciated. For more information on how to benefit your community through much needed medical services, call the Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Foundation at (423) 317-3170.

New Educational Fund Established
A fund at the Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Foundation has been established to memorialize Dr. Jose Wee-Eng, a surgeon at the MHHS for over 30 years who died this spring. Dr. Wee-Eng also served as Chief of Surgery in 1984-1985 and again in 1987-1988. Funds raised will be used for professional education and scholarships for hospital staff. Physicians and community members have donated almost $10,000 to date. Donations to the Jose Wee-Eng Fund may still be made at the Foundation office of the hospital or mailed to: P.O. Box 1184, Morristown, TN 37816. For questions, please call Debra Poole, Executive Director of the Foundation. MHHC
