Our History

Since 1997, the Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Foundation has raised funds to support Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. As a result of the generosity of corporate sponsors and participants in events like the annual Golf Tournament and Heart Gala, the Foundation has been able to support continuing professional education, program development, and purchases of needed medical equipment.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Morristown-Hamblen Hospital Foundation is to support Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System in promoting and advancing the well-being of our community by providing quality healthcare and health related services. Its mission is to provide philanthropic support to the health system through the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations in the community.

Building Hope

A capital campaign established to raise funds that will be used to build an in-patient oncology unit. The area will feature 15 private patient rooms, Family Lounge, staffed with specialized cancer team – certified in oncology care.

Heart Gala

Annual Black Tie event held in February. Enjoy an evening of dinner, music and dancing, silent and live auction, as well as special presentations. Proceeds from the Heart Gala specifically benefit the MHHS Heart, Lung and Vascular Center.

Golf Tournament

Annual J.G. Wallace & Jeep Rouse Memorial Golf Invitational is held the first Friday of May. Proceeds support continuing professional education, program development, and purchases of needed medical equipment.
