Emergency & Critical Care Center
The Center for Emergency Services provides emergency care for the residents of the Lakeway Area. Minor injuries and illnesses, as well as acute conditions and trauma, are treated. Our staff is prepared to respond to both urgent and emergent situations requiring immediate attention. A nursing and physician staff utilizes facilities and equipment to offer 24-hour specialized care for adults and children alike. Telemedicine provides a vital link to consulting specialists, and aeromedical transport is readily available for those requiring tertiary care.The Emergency Center offers aeromedical services through the UTLifeStar Helicopter 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. MHHS is also the only general pediatric emergency facility in the eight county area.  |
